Position: HIGHWAY ENGINEER III (DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND ENGINEER) SEIU 73
About: Under the direction of a Bureau Chief and higher level Engineers, performs a variety of engineering duties in planning, design, and construction. Coordinates with project teams, government agencies, and external vendors. This position requires travel throughout Cook County.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Construction, or Electrical Engineering is required; Four years of full-time work experience in engineering is required; Valid driver’s license is required; Professional work experience with transportation projects preferred.
