Position: Head Start Teacher
About: Insight Global is seeking onsite Early Head Start Teachers in Columbus, OH. The day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing learning experiences, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, using assessment tools, and promoting children’s progress across the standards outlined in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework. The ideal candidate should provide responsive care, effective teaching, and maintain an organized learning environment to support children’s school readiness. They must build nurturing relationships with children and families, follow Head Start performance standards, agency policies, Child Care Licensing rules, and regulations.
Requirements: One year of experience in a preschool/daycare setting with children aged birth to 3; current national infant and toddler center-based CDA credential issued by the Council for Professional Recognition OR Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in ECE; extensive knowledge of early childhood development principles and developmentally appropriate educational practices; ability to plan, manage, and evaluate curriculum; must pass background check, drug test, Federal fingerprinting, and possess a valid driver’s license
