Position: Head Pastry Chef Events
About: The Savoy, a renowned leader in the hospitality industry with a rich history dating back to 1889, known for outstanding service, excellence, and hosting royalty, world leaders, and celebrities, is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to lead a team of pastry chefs in creating exceptional desserts and baked goods for events and banquets.
Requirements: Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Head Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hospitality establishment; exceptional proficiency in pastry techniques, dessert plating, and presentation; flexibility to work various hours including weekends and holidays; creative flair, passion for innovation, keen eye for detail and aesthetics; strong leadership and managerial skills, ability to motivate and mentor a team; extensive knowledge of ingredients, flavors, and pastry trends; excellent organizational and time management abilities; impeccable hygiene standards, commitment to food safety regulations; relevant culinary qualifications or certifications advantageous; strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
