Position: Head Chef (River Cruise)

About: Crew Life at Sea, a renowned company in the cruise ship industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join their international galley crew. The ideal candidate must have extensive culinary background, expertise in international cooking, and a strong understanding of kitchen management and processes.

Requirements: Must have completed apprenticeship as a Chef in a hotel and/or restaurant; experience in the cruise ship industry; proficiency in computer skills including iOS, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, and Stock Control System; at least ten (10) years of culinary experience with four (4) years in the cruise ship industry; thorough knowledge of modern cuisine ingredients and culinary trends; skilled in galley sanitation, HACCP, and food-cost calculations; fluent in English and/or German; diplomatic leadership skills; ability to work independently and lead a multinational team; flexible schedule adherence and compliance with company standards.
