Position: Head Bartender
About: Riggs Washington DC, located at the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter in a historic building formerly Riggs National Bank, is home to 181 guest rooms with a nod to its legacy. It features Café Riggs, a European brasserie-inspired restaurant, and Silver Lyan, a bar by the acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana.
Requirements: Be able to adapt to a dynamic bar environment ranging from fine-dining to high-volume cocktails; lead team with a guest-first attitude; foster a warm and inviting bar environment; oversee staff in maintaining service quality; ensure prompt and high-quality drink service; assist in daily bar operations; plan and produce bar ingredients; manage inventory and liquor orders; maintain cleanliness and organization; assist in menu development for events; coordinate staff in cocktail and menu development; engage in media and public opportunities as needed.
