Position: Head Baker
About: Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to oversee the daily operations of the bakery onboard a cruise ship, creating high-quality baked goods for guests while ensuring a clean and organized work environment. The Head Baker will work closely with the Executive Chef and lead a team of bakers to deliver exceptional products to guests in a fast-paced and dynamic setting, staying abreast of food trends and maintaining strict health and safety standards onboard.
Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Head Baker in a high-volume, fine dining establishment; Culinary degree or equivalent experience in baking and pastry arts; Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment; Ability to manage and train a team; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Fluent in English, both written and verbal; Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and obtain necessary travel documents
