Position: Guest Service Agent
About: Sonesta ES Suites Wilmington – Newark is seeking a Guest Services Agent (GSA) to be a pivotal part of the hotel’s mission and success, primarily handling front desk responsibilities and supporting the Operations Manager. As the first point of contact, the GSA embodies the brand for all incoming hotel guests, managing Front Desk technology systems and in-house guest relations during shifts.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of previous hotel experience or retail customer service preferred; background in the extended stay industry is a plus; fluent in English with knowledge of other languages beneficial; professional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred; ServSafe certification required; TIPS certification may be necessary; valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; flexibility to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
