Position: Group Coordinator- Programs
About: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a dedicated Group Coordinator for their Programs Team. This role involves providing support to community-based groups such as Alpha Forum and Big L.Y.F.T., managing logistical aspects, facilitating group activities, and supporting youth and volunteer engagement. The position requires evening and occasional weekend commitments, emphasizing inclusivity and community representation.
Requirements: Previous experience in group coordination, event planning, or related fields preferred; excellent organizational and time management skills; strong interpersonal and communication abilities; proficiency in technology for attendance tracking and administrative tasks; ability to adapt to changing priorities and work evenings and weekends; commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and positive group culture; valid driver’s license and access to a reliable automobile; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment; ability to work with confidential information; excellent oral and written communication skills; understanding of child development and family dynamics; ability to collaborate effectively with other staff; ability to collect and analyze data; ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
