Position: Grocery Department Team Trainer
About: Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Trainer to support high engagement, productivity, and retention of New Members by providing quality training on their home team. The Team Trainer collaborates with Team Leadership, Store Trainers, and Team Member Services Generalists to ensure timely completion of training programs and support various training initiatives, including Operational Learning Pathways, Compliance, Food Safety, and Customer Service, while maintaining a positive and customer-focused approach within the team.
Requirements: 6 months of Whole Foods Market experience (or equivalent retail training experience); comfortable speaking in front of groups and inspiring others; capable of teaching in a constructive manner; proficient in MS Office Suite and Whole Foods Market’s learning systems; strong communication skills; ability to work well in a team and uphold customer service standards; passion for quality foods; strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; understanding of Whole Foods Market’s quality goals; able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like standing/walking for extended periods, bending, and reaching; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; previous experience in a customer service role preferred
