Position: Grill Cook, State Grill and Bar
About: Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group is searching for a full-time Grill Cooks to join our team at State Grill and Bar in New York, New York. As a grill cook, you will showcase your grilling techniques in a fast-paced kitchen, delivering delicious grilled creations to our valued guests. Patina Restaurant Group is a leader in the premium segment of the restaurant and catering industry, operating restaurants at high-profile venues including Lincoln Center, Walt Disney World®, Disneyland®, the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, and The Metropolitan Opera.
Requirements: 2 years of proven experience as a Grill Cook or a similar role is required ; Expertise in grilling techniques, temperatures, and timings ; Ability to handle high-volume grilling with precision ; Strong organizational and multitasking skills ; Excellent communication and teamwork abilities ; Knowledge of food safety regulations ; Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred ; Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat ; Standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels ; Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment ; Exposed to variable temperatures and damp environments
