Requirements: Education/Training: Ability to read, recognize, and differentiate between words and series of numbers; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Licensure/Certification: None required. Experience: No prior experience required. Essential Functions: Prepare food items by following recipes and/or product directions for grilling, theme areas, or pizza; adhere to production plans as assigned by the shift supervisor; utilize basic food preparation techniques, including receiving, storing, preparing, cooking to order, and holding food items; apply knowledge of food service sanitation and infection control procedures; follow HACCP guidelines and practices; communicate effectively with the Executive Chef, Food & Nutrition Supervisor, Group Leaders, and peers; assist in other areas of Food & Nutrition as needed; comply with hospital standards, policies, and procedures; maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies and legal standards.
