Position: Grill Cook
About: Responsible for providing quality food for patients, associates, and customers using standardized recipes and production sheets. The organization values integrity, patient-centered care, respect, accountability, and compassion. This role involves general sanitation and cleaning of kitchen equipment. The position is under the Teamsters Collective Bargaining Agreement, offering a pay range from $16.68/hr to $32.47/hr.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; Graduate from an accredited school of culinary arts with five (5) years of experience; Completion of the Food Safe Program and passing the exam; OR Certification as a working chef with upscale catering experience and completion of the Food Safe Program; OR Three (3) years of cooking experience on a restaurant hot line or short order capacity with completion of an approved culinary program and passing the Food Safe exam. One (1) to two (2) years of grill cook experience or culinary experience required. Language skills to read and comprehend instructions and present information effectively; Mathematical skills for basic calculations and reasoning abilities for problem-solving; Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; Should be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
