Position: Green Stormwater Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Supervisor I – E (EXTENDED)
About: The Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is hiring a Supervisor I to lead the Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Operations and Maintenance Technical Program within the Watershed Operations and Maintenance Division. The Green Stormwater Infrastructure O&M Section is responsible for GSI vegetation management, enhancement, design review, planting, establishment, and maintenance. The GSI Operations and Maintenance Section manages BES’s green infrastructure throughout the city and supports Capital Improvement Projects, City Bureaus, outside partners, and customers. The GSI Operations and Maintenance Program is primarily responsible for maintaining green street facilities (roadway stormwater planters) and other regional public vegetated stormwater facilities.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a public agency, customer service role, or field related to an organizational unit or Bureau/Office, including experience leading or supervising other employees; valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record at the time of hire
