Position: Graveyard Line Cook
About: A line cook position is available at a busy restaurant, requiring dedication to food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will work in various stations within the kitchen to ensure the efficient and timely creation of food items for guests.
Requirements: Must be 21 years or older; Sets up / stocks / breaks down station according to restaurant guidelines; Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner; Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications; Cleans and maintains station; Properly labels, dates and rotates food product; Ensures proper food storage and holding temperatures; Reports issues to manager; Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills; Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures; Ability to work in a team environment; Previous line cook experience (minimum 3 years); Must be able to communicate effectively in English; Ability to work under high pressure; Extensive knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
