Position: Graduate Program Coordinator
About: The University of Oregon, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Academic Support Unit 6, is seeking a Graduate Program Coordinator to support graduate students within the ASU, overseeing and coordinating the administration of graduate programs related to Biology, Chemistry, Physics, the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology, and the Multidisciplinary Science Program. This position plays a vital role in providing administrative support to academic departments within CAS.
Requirements: Two years of general clerical experience, including typing or word processing; or an Associate’s degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; or graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology and one year of general clerical experience. College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills, follow guidelines, and work with diverse groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and adaptability in a changing environment.
