Position: Golf Cashier/Starter
About: Working under the direction of the Manager – Golf Course Programs and Events, and the Supervisor/Assistant supervisor of the facility, the incumbent collects daily fees, greets and serves the public, sells concessions, starts players, cleans pro shops, performs duties designated by management, and opens or closes shop. The incumbent is expected to exercise good judgment, independence, initiative, and professional expertise in conducting day-to-day operations. All work duties and activities must be performed in accordance with the City safety rules and operating regulations, policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements: High school diploma not required; ability to write and do simple mathematics are essential; ability to follow specific instructions and guidelines; ability to communicate with the public in a professional manner; ability to understand and operate a security system; simple math skills; ability to understand moderately complex, relatively standardized tasks, processes or operations
