Position: Baker
About: We are looking for a skilled and creative Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting exceptional breads, desserts, and pastries. This role involves working closely with the Executive Chef to create and execute bakery items while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
Bake a variety of goods, including breads, cakes, and pastries, to meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new dessert and bakery items.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of all baking equipment and the work area.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of ingredients.
Ensure all bakery items meet presentation and taste standards.
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to meet health regulations.
Assist in training new team members in baking processes and techniques.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen is preferred.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and equipment.
Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and taste.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
