Position: General Manager – Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago O’Hare
About: Sonesta Hotels is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead the onsite operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction. The General Manager will collaborate with various teams to drive revenue, control costs, and maintain the overall success of the hotel through exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred; three years of experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, and/or Director of Sales in extended stay hotels preferred; fluent in English with knowledge of other languages being beneficial; strong communication, mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera systems; willingness to travel, including overnight stays; valid driver’s license; physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting items up to 50 pounds and working varied shifts including weekends and holidays
