Position: General Manager of Bar Clara
About: Hotel Per LA is looking for a Restaurant General Manager for their independent, luxury lifestyle property located in Downtown Los Angeles. The hotel is housed in a gorgeously restored historic building and is in close proximity to attractions like the Museum of Contemporary Art, Disney Concert Hall, and Grand Central Market. The property features chic guestrooms, an exciting new restaurant concept – Per L’Ora, a café – Cafe Ora, and a stunning rooftop pool terrace and lounge – Bar Clara, catering to both guests and local creatives seeking access to LA’s cultural institutions and culinary scene.
Requirements: More than two years of post-high school education; two to three full years of full employment in a related position; thorough knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures; strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze information and make recommendations; physical ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing 20-40 lbs on a daily basis; excellent vision, oral communication, and comprehension skills
