Position: General Manager, JW Marriott Chicago

About: JW Marriott Chicago, located at 151 West Adams Street in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a strategic and dedicated individual to join their team as a primary business leader responsible for all aspects of the property’s operation. The position involves overseeing guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation to deliver a return on investment. The candidate will ensure the implementation of Marriott’s service strategy, collaborate with the property leadership team, and engage in proactive sales activities to drive demand and brand success in the market.

Requirements: 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 8 years’ experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area. OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years’ experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area. General Manager experience in limited or full-service property; Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights; Property industry work experience demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance.
