Position: General Manager II
About: HMSHost at Salt Lake City International Airport, located at Conc A Gate 27, 776 North Terminal Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84122, is currently seeking a General Manager II to oversee a complex QSR or Casual Dine Restaurant or small cluster of restaurants with annual sales generally in excess of $4M. The role requires ensuring high operational and financial standards, making key leadership decisions, and driving overall restaurant success in a dynamic environment.
Requirements: GMIIs must have documented and demonstrated skills managing the types of restaurants (QSR, Casual Dine, Full Service, similar complexity, Union and Non-Union, etc.) to which the role is assigned, demonstrating overall responsibility for the restaurant’s success and failure. A minimum of 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience and 5-7 years of overall working restaurant experience is typically required. Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for a portion of the time-based experience requirement. Additionally, candidates should possess team management, delegation, issue resolution skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with HMSHost policies, products, service standards, and operations is essential.
