Position: General Manager – Ginger’s (downtown’s only gay bar)
About: Ginger’s is downtown’s only LGBTQ+ bar, entertainment, and community space, and they are currently seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead their team. The GM will play a crucial role in overseeing all bar operations and ensuring a memorable experience for patrons at Ginger’s.
Requirements: Managerial experience in a bar, restaurant or equivalent; great bartending skills; experience booking entertainment is an advantage; record of critical thinking skills; strong interpersonal skills; attention to detail and good organizational skills; customer service focus; knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality industries; calm under pressure; comfortable with hospitality and sales technology platforms; familiarity with Craftable, Yelp Restaurant Manager, and Square for Restaurants is a plus; degree in business, management, hospitality, or equivalent is a plus
Benefits: $24-$30/hr depending on experience + tips, company-sponsored medical/dental/vision benefits, commuter check tax benefits, matching 401(k) after the first year
