Position: General Manager
About: ASM Global, the world’s leading venue management company and producer of live event experiences, is seeking a General Manager for the Broward County Convention Center. The company operates and invests in stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and theaters around the world, focusing on enhancing the experience of both internal team members and guests.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum of 7-10 years of industry experience in a senior management level position within an Arena, Convention Center, or Stadium; proven track record of managing and leading large scale facility operations with a diverse workforce; significant experience in contract negotiations, supervising personnel, booking, promoting, and supervising live entertainment productions, sporting events, business law, purchasing procedures, labor relations, and union contracts
