Position: General Manager
About: MV Transportation is seeking a General Manager to provide support, leadership, and direction to the assigned operating location, ensuring the delivery of annual business plans in compliance with company procedures and policies.
Requirements: College degree or equivalent business management experience; Management experience required; Minimum of five years of comprehensive experience in operations management and seven years of management or supervisory experience in a transit environment with Trapeze scheduling software knowledge; Labor/union negotiations/expenses expertise; Full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, safety DOT, and FTA compliance; MS Office skills, strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, high degree of multitasking; Additional duties/responsibilities based on individual contract requirements
