Position: General Manager
About: This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald’s. The franchisee has a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products. It is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, and scheduling employees.
Requirements: The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. They work with leaders to set goals and create plans to achieve them. The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, sets goals, provides coaching, and ensures department improvements. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience in high volume locations, preferably in quick service restaurants or hospitality.
