Position: General Manager
About: The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead this premier resort. With over 1,000 rooms, 100,000 square feet of event space, multiple dining outlets, extensive meeting and event spaces, and world-class recreational amenities, this resort is a destination for travelers from around the world.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years hotel general manager experience at a full-service, large-scale hotel with comparable meeting space; Demonstrated effective owner relations; Critical thinker with extensive knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, human resources, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning; Strong commercial (sales, marketing and revenue) leadership skills with vision for expanding market share; Leadership skills to motivate and develop a team and to ensure the accomplishment of goals; Ability to create positive high-impact results with associates, guests, and investors while genuinely supporting the communities we serve; Experience monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall resort performance; Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
