Position: General Manager
About: The Essex Resort & Spa, located in the picturesque Vermont countryside, is seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the resort’s operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related field (preferred); Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in a luxury hotel, resort or hospitality environment; Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and revenue management; Proven ability to lead and inspire large, diverse teams across multiple departments; Exceptional guest service skills with a passion for delivering personalized, memorable experiences; Experience in luxury food and beverage operations and spa management is highly desirable; Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests, staff and community stakeholders; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines; Knowledge of hospitality management software and systems.
