Position: General Manager
About: RaceTrac is seeking a General Manager to lead one of its stores and manage a team of up to 45 employees. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, ensuring food quality, maintaining cleanliness, nurturing talent, and driving success in line with RaceTrac’s mission of simplifying and enhancing people’s lives.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED completion or in progress; 5+ years of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurant; preferred retail management experience; previous experience in a high-volume, guest-focused environment; strong analytical skills for financial performance evaluation; excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing best practices; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks; Manager Food Handler certification required; may need to obtain and maintain alcohol server permit as per local or state regulations
