About: Kissel Uptown Oakland is a hotel located in the vibrant district of Uptown Oakland, celebrating the city’s innovation, adventure, and creativity. The hotel embraces the neighborhood’s history with grand Beaux-Arts architecture, locally-commissioned artworks, and a bold decor.
Requirements: At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field; proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing; valid driver’s license for the applicable state; ability to convey information clearly, evaluate and select among alternative courses of action, work well in high-pressure situations, assimilate complex information, work with financial data, and handle cash transactions; effective at problem-solving and maintaining composure under pressure; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; must comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations.
