Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of culinary experience in non-fast food restaurants or college/university setting; Basic reading and writing skills, ability to follow written recipes, excellent communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a clean and safe working environment, ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented kitchen; Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, large-scale soup production, proper food handling and storage procedures, kitchen sanitation procedures, attention to detail in food presentation, flavor, and consistency; Knowledge of all kitchen equipment including set up, operation, and breakdown, combi ovens, convection ovens, induction burners, Anliker, broilers, large batch kettles, slicers, proper knife skills, basic knife cuts, and safe knife handling
