Position: Game Day Operations & Community Relations Coordinator
About: The Motor City Rockers, a professional hockey team, is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Game Day Operations & Community Relations Coordinator to oversee the execution of game day events and community engagement initiatives. This role plays a vital part in creating a top-tier fan experience and strengthening the team’s presence in the local community.
Requirements: Previous experience in sports management, event coordination, or community relations is preferred; strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for games and events; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms; experience working with volunteers and coordinating community outreach programs is a plus
