Position: Full Time Utility Porter
About: Pratt Institute is looking for a full-time Utility Porter to join its busy facilities department. The perfect candidate will have their NYS Driver’s license, exceptional customer service skills, and a desire to help the team keep Pratt clean! Under direct supervision, the Utility Porter will perform labor and supervisory duties in support of the maintenance of the Institute’s buildings and grounds.
Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalency required; Associate degree preferred; Experience: Must possess knowledge of different types of cleaning equipment and the safe use of chemical cleaning agents. Good verbal communications skills required; Knowledge, Skills and License: NYS Driver License required, ability to communicate with the public in a positive, courteous and respectful manner, must have the ability to work well with diverse populations, and demonstrated level of cultural competence.
