Position: Front Office Manager
About: Courtyard Detroit Downtown in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Front Office Manager to lead the front office functions and staff. This position will be responsible for areas including Bell Staff, Switchboard Operations, Guest Services/Front Desk, and Retail/Gift Shop operations. The Front Office Manager will work closely with managers and employees to ensure smooth guest arrival and departure procedures, enhance guest and employee satisfaction, and optimize departmental financial performance.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area. OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; Ability to set and achieve performance goals; Knowledge of Front Office policies and procedures; Experience in managing human resources activities and performance appraisal processes.
