Position: Freelance In-Person Event Host – Mahwah, New Jersey
About: Visit.org is seeking a Freelance In-Person Event Host in Mahwah, NJ to join their Events team on a contract basis. The Event Host will facilitate interactive social impact experiences for corporate partners on location for in-person events. The ideal candidate should have corporate event experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for the company’s mission, and the energy and discipline to thrive in a start-up tech environment.
Requirements: Fluent in English; based in Mahwah, NJ; availability to work on a contract per event basis; comfortable interacting with groups of people; background in acting, comedy, improv or similar profession is a bonus; experience with group facilitation and managing dynamics; high energy, positive attitude; quick thinker and problem solver; comfortable with public speaking; excellent customer service and presentation skills.
