Position: Freelance Event Specialist
About: Visit.org, a company dedicated to helping companies discover and book social impact team experiences, is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist in Portland, Maine. The candidate will be responsible for managing logistics for in-person events that align with the company’s mission of supporting local nonprofits.
Requirements: Fluency in English and strong communication skills; based in Portland, Maine; schedule flexibility for contract per-event basis work; experience in large-scale and intimate events; resourcefulness and ability to problem-solve under pressure; self-starter with strong organizational skills; experience in customer service and group facilitation; willingness to travel locally; ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 30lbs and standing for extended periods
