Position: Freelance Event Specialist
About: Visit.org is seeking a Freelance Event Specialist in Oakbrook, IL to manage the logistics of an upcoming in-person event. The candidate will work on engaging team-building activities supporting social impact causes.
Requirements: Fluency in English and strong communication skills; Based in Oakbrook, IL; Schedule flexibility for contract per-event work; Experience in complex, large-scale and intimate events; Resourcefulness and ability to problem-solve under pressure; Detail-oriented and customer-focused; Comfortable with group facilitation and managing group dynamics; Willingness to travel and work flexible hours; Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stand for extended periods.
