Position: Host / Hostess
About: Four Seasons Hotel Miami is looking for a restaurant Host/Hostess who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Requirements:
Full knowledge of products and specifications.
Follows service guidelines in the manual. Greets guests warmly and promptly with eye contact and a smile.Uses guests’ names, especially for VIPs.
Promotes service standards with friendliness, restaurant knowledge, and attentiveness. Manages reservations, answers phones, and maintains reservation records. Collects, cleans, and updates menus; replaces damaged ones. Ensures souvenir menus are stocked. Knows floor plan, tables, and stations. Tracks table status and readiness, ensuring settings are complete.
Keeps accurate guest count. Checks on bar guests waiting for tables, keeping them informed. Assists servers by answering guest questions.
Invites guests to return by name upon departure. Completes side duties.
Keeps the host area and entrance neat and clean. Relays guest needs and feedback to management. Promotes safety and cleanliness for guests and staff. Works as part of a team, assisting as needed. Adheres to service standards from training
What You Bring
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Oral proficiency in Spanish language is preferred.
1-2 years experience in experience in similar environment.
Knowledge of service, guest communication, menu writing, maintenance & housekeeping, cost control in F&B and F&B accounting.
Computer literate
