Position: Formwork Detailer II
About: Baker Construction, a leading specialty concrete contractor, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Formwork Detailer II to join their team. Requirements: Two-year technical degree or equivalent; minimum of one year of related detailing experience and/or training; proficient in AutoCAD; proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; basic understanding of BIM. The following competencies are needed to successfully perform this job: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and government regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers; good listening skills; ability to comprehend documents such as blueprints and construction drawings; ability to calculate mathematical figures such as geometry, trigonometry, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply them to practical solutions; ability to work with others in a team environment; ability to deal with problems involving specific variables in standardized and unique situations; ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished by written, oral or diagram form; ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as blueprints and construction drawings.
