Position: Forge Pizza Assistant Restaurant Manager
About: Are you a seasoned food service professional with a passion for high-volume environments, a commitment to food safety, and strong leadership skills? If so, SSP America has an exciting opportunity for you at Forge Pizza in the dynamic setting of Oakland International Airport! SSP America operates several restaurants throughout the airport, including Oakland Draft House, A’s Clubhouse, Peet’s Coffee, and the soon-to-launch Forge Pizza. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and help us bring the Forge Pizza brand to life!
Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant coursework preferred; Experience: 2+ years in restaurant/food service management; Skills: Full-service restaurant management (with bar experience), proficiency in MS Office and POS systems, and strong organizational abilities; Certifications: Food Handlers’ Card and relevant safety certifications; Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work with executives and diverse teams, and a proven track record in conflict resolution
