Position: FOOD SERVICE WORKER
About: Performs routine duties for patient food services, cafeteria, sanitation support, and special functions requiring food services. Assembles, prepares and distributes food; cleans up, washes dishes and maintains all food service areas in accordance with required sanitation procedures.
Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required (must provide proof at time of interview); Previous experience in an institutional foodservice operation is preferred; Ability to read and write English; Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations relating to weights, measures and tallies; Ability to operate foodservice equipment; Ability to work with patients and general public; Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; Ability to push, pull, reach, lift, stoop, twist and turn frequently; Ability to lift heavy objects
