Position: Food Service Supervisor

About: This Food Service Supervisor position is part of a team responsible for ensuring the safe and fresh delivery of food and services to patients and customers in a timely and professional manner within a healthcare environment. The supervisor plays a key role in managing the workload and workflow of the team to meet facility and regulatory standards under the oversight of the Food Services Director. The position involves coordinating operational activities, promoting positive employee engagement, and facilitating staff training and development to maintain a competent and efficient team.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred; Minimum of three years of previous food service experience in a healthcare environment; Excellent organizational, communication, and math skills; Team player and problem solver; Ability to learn nutrition and understand diet modifications; Capability to handle stress and adapt to workplace changes; Professional appearance at all times; State of Florida Food Handler Training Certificate within 30 days of start date or ServSafe® Food Service Worker Certificate required within three months of start date
