Position: Food Service Supervisor
About: Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to support the daily operations of their food service, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position reports to department leadership and involves coordinating food preparation, serving, and maintenance within the health system.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Prior food service experience required; Record of completion for education, licenses, training, and certifications required at time of hire; Continuous maintenance of state licensure, certification, and educational requirements during employment; Knowledge of public health, safety, food handling, and sanitation standards; Familiarity with commercial food service operations, cash handling, inventory management, and menu planning; Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; FBI fingerprinting, criminal background check, and Child Protective Services registry search required for roles in Children’s Pavilion
