Position: Food Service Retail Director
About: Aramark Healthcare is seeking a Food Service Retail Director to oversee four locations throughout the University of Chicago Medical campus in Chicago, IL. The Retail Director will be responsible for the day-to-day Retail operations, reporting to the General Manager. Responsibilities include client financial accountability, compliance with standards established by ARAMARK and regulatory agencies, and collaboration with the General Manager on department goals and objectives.
Requirements: 2-4 years progressive retail management experience preferred; Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree; Ideal candidates will have experience in managing multiple points of sales and multiple retail sites; Fast-paced, high volume environment requiring 5-8 years of experience with a minimum of $5M in managed volume; Strong financial acumen with successful P&L management experience; Experience in managing salaried individuals and driving programs; Effective communication skills with clients, customers, and support staff; Attention to high quality standards and defect identification in food preparation and service; Ability to write reports and work with mathematical concepts and practical situations such as fractions and percentages.
