About: Edustaff at Simonds Elementary, part of Lamphere School District, is seeking a Food Service Point of Service/Cashier to provide guidance and customer service to students and staff in a school food service setting. The role involves handling currency, ensuring meal components for reimbursable meals, and assisting with food service tasks and cleanliness standards according to operating protocols for Pre-K-5 students.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; completion of a physical exam with Concentra; ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain; good organization, record keeping, and leadership skills; ability to handle cash transactions and use computer/cash register; physical capabilities to lift and move items up to 30 lbs; interpersonal skills for positive relationships with supervisors, students, and community; willingness to follow uniform policies and work collaboratively in a team environment.
