Position: Food Service II (Grill Cook) Assistant
About: Support Services at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital, SAH DIETARY, offering a Registry position with variable shifts starting at 5 am or 10 am every other weekend and rotating holidays. Pay range: $16.45 – $22.21 per hour. Additional components may include evening & night shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Per Diem Staff are not eligible for associate benefit plans as per Health System policies. Requirements: At least 2 years of food preparation experience in a high-volume food service environment. Must have current State of Illinois Food Sanitation certification or obtain within 6 months of hire. Good oral communication and customer service skills; ability to resolve customer complaints and interact effectively with staff and the public. Successful completion of annual job-specific competencies and skill verification tools.
