Position: Food Service Director
About: The Food Service Director position is available in New Orleans, LA, overseeing a smaller higher education account’s food service program, including catering services. The role involves leading a team to achieve operational and financial goals, ensuring compliance, maintaining client relationships, and fostering a supportive work environment aligned with the organization’s values and objectives.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in hospitality, food service, or a similar environment; Strong desire to learn and develop management skills; Previous experience in a leadership role with exposure to contract/budget management, customer service, people development, and food services; Strong business and financial acumen or the willingness and ability to learn; Ability to think quickly, analytically, and strategically; Excellent client relationship management, influencing, presentation, listening, and communication skills; Commitment to inclusivity, professionalism, and resilience; Demonstrates initiative, ownership, multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other relevant computer skills
