Position: Food Service Assistant I (3 Hours Per Day) – Oakland High School (2024-25)
About: Under the direction of a Nutrition Services Field Supervisor, the Nutrition Services Assistant I at Oakland Unified School District performs food service activities related to the preparation, packaging, and serving of foods while adhering to State and Federal meal program mandates. The role also involves cashiering duties, maintaining cleanliness of food service facilities, and ensuring compliance with health and sanitation standards.
Requirements: any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed and a 60% passing score on the designated basic skills test; valid Food Safety Certificate
