Position: Food Service Administrator
About: The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is seeking a Food Service Administrator for its Division of Administration. ACS is dedicated to protecting and promoting the safety and well-being of children and families through various services and community supports. The Division of Administration provides essential support services to ensure the agency functions efficiently and effectively, employing approximately 490 public employees in areas such as building maintenance, operational support, and more. The Food Service Administrator will work under the supervision of the Director of Food Service to streamline invoicing processes and assist in administrative tasks within the Food Service Unit.
Requirements: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and six months of professional experience in procurement; or an associate degree and 18 months of relevant experience; or a four-year high school diploma and two and a half years of professional experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above. Ability to work well under pressure, excellent communication skills, and maintaining professional relationships. Candidates must meet specific experience requirements for different assignment levels and may be eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs and state repayment assistance programs.
