Position: Food Server
About: Food Servers deliver food and beverage items for Guests in a timely manner within a casino environment, ensuring friendly and professional service. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving, table clearing, and maintaining cleanliness. The ideal candidate must have 1 year of food server experience in a casino setting, strong communication skills in English, basic math abilities, excellent customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Education and Experience: 1 year experience working as a Food Server within a casino environment preferred; Language Ability: Must be able to communicate effectively in English language – speak and read; Math Ability: Basic adding and subtracting skills; Ability to correctly count out change for Guests; Knowledge and Skills: Excellent customer service skills and employee relations skills; Excellent organizational skills; Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced environment; Must be able to multitask; Ability to read and memorize all menu and beverage items; Computer Skills: Must be able to operate a Point of Sale register; Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time; Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds; Must be able to lift trays of food or food items weighing 25 pounds on a regular and continuing basis; Prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching and kneeling without restriction; Requires grasping, writing, repetitive motions, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity
