Position: Food Safety Manager
About: An ambitious food business in Denver, CO focused on growing threefold in the next three years is seeking an experienced Food Safety Manager with a background in the protein industry to join their team. The company is passionate about food safety, quality, and aims to instill a culture where quality is a shared responsibility among all team members.
Requirements: B.S. or M.S. in Food Science or equivalent field; 5 years of experience in a key Food Safety and/or Quality leadership role in a protein processing environment (meat or seafood); direct leadership of FDA, USDA, and GFSI (SQF) audits and inspections; deep knowledge of FDA, USDA regulations and GFSI (SQF) standards; familiarity with Seafood HACCP is a plus
