Position: Food Runner job
About: The Food Runner is responsible for food deliveries, is able to describe items, replenishes supplies, and acts as a liaison between the Front of House and Back of House staff. They ensure that each guest receives the correct order and provides detailed explanations of the dishes delivered. The role involves keeping an organized board, double-checking orders, matching food tickets to guests, and assisting with guest needs.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years fine dining experience required; Dependability; Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; Team player is a must; Strong task and time management abilities; Eye for detail and understanding of food intolerances and allergies; Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs; Maintaining composure, controlling anger, avoiding aggressive behavior, even in difficult situations
